Fruitful and FOODful Day...
Yesterday was an eventful day...
Waiyin and I started our very first prayer meet in school. Well, it has been two semesters that i've been praying that God will give me people to start a proper prayer meet with. And God has constantly been reminding me about it even when i am on the bus... therefore, i must take action before i leave poly regretting..
Don't leave a life of regrets and say "IF" i did this and that...
Anyway, the prayer was really good... we found a place(big enough to preach to one- two hundreds) and we just prayed. Hope that more people will start joining us... and our prayer group will start to grow... :D
After that, went back to the it block to meet my mentor(tutor) and classmates.. have some fun time chatting before we went for NE-National Education. So happening... tertiary edu and they still bring us out to field trips.. feels like primary & sec sch.. recalling those days....
Highlight of the dayPat and myself kept looking at the time as the clock ticks... It was time for
Sakae Sushi Buffet...but before that, we went to do some storyboarding for eugene and chris...posing.. taking photos.
Took a cab with Pat and Henry to Marina Square and we went down just in time to eat eat eat... ON top of that, i get to sit in the hole. (But i've been tricked..the last time i walked passed the sakae, i thot people were kneeling down to eat.. like those traditional japanese restaurant..chey.. it was just a hole for u to put ur legs in.. and u sit on a rattan mat)haha.. funniest part of all, the moment we sat down, i started ordering like mad. It seems little when you are ordering, but when the food comes, it's horrifying. I tripled most of the dishes that we ordered. (It was a wrong thing to do!!!) The food came non-stop and it was a wide spread on the table. The best part is when pat said this "This is the first time when i eat sushi, i gotta stretch so far". hmmm.. can u imagine how much food now? if you cant.. i'll show u...

Even the manager was 'wowing' at us as he walked passed our table... in his mind, he must be thinking... this people are out on revenge.. i wonder if they can really finish up their food..
We ate for close to 3 hours.. we started with lotsa stamina.. but diedddd halfway. It wasn't about enjoying the sushi anymore, we were trying to gorge ourselves with it so that we wont be fined for wastage of food. Haha.. should see everyone's face.. esp henry's one.. he was really dying after the first hour.. I realised that the same thing happens in most of the buffets...when you cant finish the food and you know that you'll be fined, you'll start thinking of stupid ideas to get rid of the food.
Yeah, and that was what we were doing for the last one hour... but the Sakae was pretty empty and the waiters were all surrounding us...my friend even thot of taking out all the notes in his file and squeeze all the sushi inside and ltr go home and wash his oily file.
It was really too much for the 3 of us to handle after 2 and a half hours.. i took out tissue paper and it did wonders... We quickly grabbed the sushi with the tissue when no one was looking and we threw it into our bags.. PHEW...
We left the place.. feeling really bloated.. bursting.. and we rushed to the toilet.. haha.. BEST thing.. Patty PUKED her sushi out!!! It was an eye-opening experience.. i never see anyone puke after eating...and it was a terrifying experience for henry.. his first sushi buffet and all these happened.. haha... We ate a total of 55 plates..
You'll learn a lesson after each experience... Lessons learnt here:
1. Don't order too much if you cannot finish and then get fine!
2. Don't overestimate your stomach, it has a limit too!
3. Don't gorge yourselves, you won't enjoy your food!
4. Don't eat anymore if you really cannot eat!
5. Don't be greedy!
